SHOW RESULTS AND OTHER NEWS
Our annual bali holiday is done and dusted with spring in the air! Chelleason Crown Dior has come back into work after her winter break better than ever! She has now qualified herself for the 4yo Pony Class at 2017 DWTS on an impressive 73% at the Spring Dressage Championships in very testing weather conditions. So proud of Miss Buttons!
She has also commenced her eventing career, and has simply the best attitude to jumping with a super jump on her and she is showing a lot of talent. Just last weekend she competed at her first ODE, bringing home 1st place in the Combined Training. We are having a ball with this little girl!
Wow how time flies! I can't believe we are in the middle of winter - and what a wet, cold horrible winter it has been. The wettest in years. I really makes it hard to get motivated to get out on the horses and get going.
Chelleason CrownDior has really kicked into her dressage gears, just shy of turning 4, she has commenced competing in the Preliminary grades, consistently bringing scores in the mid to high 60's. She really loves her job and is so much fun to ride. She has had lots of rides out due to the arena being very wet, and she is showing some potential as a low grade, fun eventing pony, so lets just see what happens in spring!

Southern Firefly is having some time off over winter, in between the event seasons after giving us 3 events starts through the autumn. I just adore this boy and we are building a great relationship together. Unfortunately we had a crash whilst Cross Country Training, through no fault of horse or rider, Fly missed his footing coming out of the water jump and stumbled and fell, at speed! I dislocated my shoulder / AC joint and managed a line fracture in my arm so we had to have some forced time off, and that wiped us out for the rest of the Autumn season. Both horse and rider are now fully recovered and ready to come back into work!
Fly had completions at Lockington Horse Trials in the Newcomers, then the EvA80 at Kirkcaldy, and a 5th Place at Mount Pleasant Horse Trials in the AP3.
As predicted, we have had a very busy summer, with not a lot of time to get on the computer to do updates.
We have been busy with the young, new and sale horses along with hosting monthly clinics with Dani Stefanutti, which are proving to be very popular. Dani has one last clinic here in April before heading back to Holland to work for a few months.
Chelleason Crown Dior is now a 3 year old and broken in a going beautifully. She has had two dressage outings at Mount Crawford in February, earning herself scores in the high 60's all round - even taking out the win with 69% at her last comp! We are so happy with her progress and are still aiming for a qualification for the 4yo pony class at 2017 DWTS. She is having a well earned break now for a few months to grow and rest.
Daitan Cinta has been progressing so wonderfully with Dani Stefanutti that we decided that he would be best off under her permanent care and guidance, and as such, Dani is now his proud owner and he will be residing at the family property in the Victorian High Country. I'm sure my golden boy will achieve great things with Dani.
Daitan Jazz N Jive was reluctantly sold due to my new enthusiasm for eventing. Tika is a wonderfully talented horse who will be a certain FEI prospect and National level Show Hunter. We wish her new family all the best with her in her new ventures and safe travels up to sunny QLD. I'm very sad to see her go.
Finally - I'm so thrilled to announce the purchase of my once in a lifetime horse, Southern Firefly. Bred in the purple for eventing by Koyuna Stud, our nationwide search for my perfect eventer finished in our own back yard with our show jumping coach Anthony Thomas. He very reluctantly agreed to let us give Fly a go, and we haven't looked back! Fly is 8 years old and show jump trained. We had our first event in the Newcomers at Lockington horse trials this month where he did a super clean and clear xc round. I just adore this boy and look forward to a long partnership with him.
Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait! I love nothing better than early morning and late evening rides, long days and warm weather!
We have two gorgeous new foals on the ground from Philadelphia KEI and White Skye Blue, both sired by 2 times Australian Champion Chelleason Crown Jewel. Both girls had lovely colts - a bay and a palomino born on the 12th and 15th November. We have been spending a lot of time with these two gorgeous young lads, and both are turning into exceptional boys with lovely people friendly temperaments. Please see the foal page for photos and information on them both!
In other news around the Stud, Chelleason Crown Dior has been started under saddle and is coming along very nicely. After a 2 month prep, she has now been turned out until the end of January when she will come back in and start her campaign towards the 4yo Pony Dressage Classes. We are very excited about her future as a dressage pony. Our Arabian Warmblood gelding, Daitan One Love is now a 2yo and growing out of control, currently standing at 16.1 hh! We thought it best that we sit on him before he got much bigger so that he gets some idea of what his future is going to include. He was backed lightly this month and has been turned out to grow. He is turning out to be a magnificent horse and we can't wait to get him in the competition arena when he is of age and ready. Still lots of growing to do with that young man!
We have also been extremely lucky to have secured talented young Dressage rider Dani Stefanutti for regular dressage clinics and tuition. Dani is coming to SA once per month and is booking out fast. If you wish to have some lessons from Dani or have her school your horse, please contact me on 0407 488 161 or [email protected] Her next clinic will be in January. Dates to be confirmed.
A big congratulations goes to Johan and Kristie Nilsson and also to Team KEA on the success with Daitan Vanity Fair's debut at the Australasian Breeders Cup this month - Silver Champion Junior Filly! We could not be prouder as breeders and are so happy to have seen her go to such a wonderful home.
Congratulations also goes to Kerry Chapman and Team at Gleniph Arabians on their recent success with Daitan Ooh La La, winning the flowers and taking out Grand Champion Led Exhibit of Show at the NSW Dilute Championships and also winning Supreme Coloured at the National Capital Show! Gleniph Arabians are enjoying loads of success with this beautiful Daitan bred youngster under the careful training and guidance of her dedicated trainer Emily Rees.
Over in WA, Sundale Arabian Stud are enjoying success with Daitan Violet Crumble who was awarded State Reserve Champion at the recent WA State Championships. Deb Gibbon is have a wonderful time with Daitan Khaleesi who regularly attends shows and is always bringing home the broad sashes. It's great to see our horses we have bred out bringing joy to their owners all over Australia.
What a month we have had! It's been a whirlwind. Firstly, with a heavy heart we announce the sale of the delightful Vitorio TO filly 'Daitan Vanity Fair' to Johan and Kristie Nilsson in NSW. Although she was not actually for sale, she was given an opportunity to shine where she should be and this is an opportunity that we could not have given her. Most heartfelt thanks to Greg Andrews from KEA for facilitating the sale of this precious little girl and for taking her into you care at KEA. We will most certainly be jet setting over to see her highly anticipated debut in the show ring with Greg. Our biggest congratulations go to her new owners - we know you will not be disappointed! What a star she will be.
Later in August, Daitan Equestrian was the chosen location for the Spring/Summer fashion shoot for The Vine magazine, distributed by Burnside Village. We had an amazing day, full of laughs and entertainment on the day of the shoot. The crew were fabulous to work with and our horse, 'Daitan Cinta' and Gail Meaney's 'Rocktana Gladiator' were featured in the shoot. It's out on stands 14th September!
Final news for August was the dressage debut for Daitan Jazz N Jive at Dressage Club of SA at Aldinga on the 30th. 'Tika' exceeded all our expectations for her first outing to a competition remaining calm and unphased by the atmosphere. She did two lovely little tests for 64.8% and 60.5% putting her in the ribbons for the day. I was incredibly proud of her! This is just the start of her dressage career. Exciting times!
It's been a little while since I have given a news update.
We have recently had two competitions with our 'borrowed' pony, Rocktana Gladiator.
What a little superstar he has turned out to be! Winning his first 2 events, he has gained a little fan club along the way!
Head to his album in the gallery to see all his fancy photos.
Super cute, super talented and super FUN!!
1st Place Williamstown Horse Trials AP5
1st Place Monarto Southern Zone Championships AP4
As the winter months are setting in and the shows have finished we have decided to get out of the arena and go and do some jumping!
Rebecca Martin has taken the reins of Jaybee Amigo and we are sure this will be a wonderful partnership. Bec plans on doing some eventing and showing with Amigo so keep an eye out in NSW and SA for him at competitions!
We welcome a new member to our performance team, albeit only 'borrowed'!
Rocktana Gladiator came to Daitan Equestrian for a few weeks training on the flat for his owner and breeder, Gail Meaney.
I was having so much fun with him that I twisted Gail's arm to let me keep him for just a 'little' longer..!! We have commenced jumping and we are looking forward to our first baby ODE together at the end of the month. 'Nitro' is a gorgeous and super fun 15hh grey anglo arabian.
We aren't quite sure we want to give him back!
2015 AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS:
FALZON FOUR CLAIM:
Mad November is nearly over! What a month we have had!
We started the month by hosting a Michelle Thomas Arabian halter clinic at Daitan Equestrian. With over 20 lessons over the weekend fully booked out, the clinic was a success. We had loads of positive feedback and we can't wait to get Michelle back down to SA again to help continue training. Michelle is from Chelleason Arabian Stud and Training Centre in QLD.
Next up was the SA Arabian Championships where we took our well performed purebred gelding Falzon Four Claim. He once again proved what a showman he is culminating in the following results:
With the State Champs out the way, we then hosted the first of the Generation Next Young Horse Auction's at Daitan Equestrian in conjunction with GrandView Sport Horses. The event was a huge success with some horses being sold at auction, loads of trade stands, information, gourmet catering, live entertainment and a decedent Marquee where we partied well into the early hours of the morning! We thank all our supporters, sponsors and volunteers for making this event such a huge success!
Daitan welcomed a new member to our equine family as a result of this auction - the gorgeous 3yo warmblood mare Daitan Jazz N Jive (Jive Magic imp. x Rocadero imp.) now calls Daitan home. She came to us to be ridden in the auction from GrandView Sport horses and Tania just fell in love with her temperament, trainability and movement and we just had to have her! You can get a sneak peak of her here www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKeHbCFNLfU or in our gallery. We congratulate Dani Stefanutti on the purchase of Daitan Dur'Vine who is currently being broken in by Dani in Victoria.
The month came to a wrap with the arrival of our highly anticipated purebred foal sired by Vitorio TO (IFS) out of our lease mare Philadelphia KEI (Sarajevo x Wanted KE). Philadelphia delivered the most exquisite bay filly for us on 17th November, the first purebred Arabian to be bred by our stud.
Spring is here and so is our first foal!! We welcome the totally adorable palomino filly, Daitan Violet Crumble! Sired by Golden Rock imp. out of our lovely cremello mare, White Skye Blue. Violet Crumble aka Holly, is a German Riding Pony and Partbred Arabian Filly, she will mature around 14 - 14.2hh and will make an exceptional Pony Dressage and Show Hunter prospect. She is just delightful in all ways!

We caught up with old friends, found new ones, gained valuable knowledge, showed the horses all day and partied all night! What a week! One we won't forget for long time yet. Falzon Four Claim and Chelleason Crown Dior were simply amazing. Crown Dior charmed all those who watched her, what a fan club she has now! We adore these two horses who were both blooming, happy and relaxed for the entire competition. We are pleased to announce the following results:

In our lead up to the Australian Arabian Championships, we took our gorgeous Falzon Four Claim for an outing to our local 'A' Class Show. He was on fire all day, proving to us that his training is right on track for the Aussies! His results are as follows:
The Main Event 'A' Class
What a start to 2014! Our first show of the season was a trip to the very prestigious Melbourne Summer Royal Show. We took our very own Daitan Cinta (Ritchie) who took the atmosphere and travel all in his stride proving that we really are on the right track to breeding superior horses with outstanding temperaments. Ritchie cruised through the entire weekend placing in all his classes in the Warmblood, Arabian Derivative and Sporthorse Rings culminating in him taking out Champion Palomino Gelding in the Palomino ring on the Sunday. We were thrilled to bits with not only his big win, but his amazing attitude for just a little 2 year old. I (Tania) am seriously excited about riding this young man in the future!
In other news, Daitan Cinta's full weanling sibbling - Daitan C'est La Vie - has been sold to a Desma Santin of the Adelaide Hills. He will compete in the dressage arena's when he comes of age. We wish Desi all the best with this gorgeous little man and we know he will be every bit the superstar that his big brother is turning into!
SA Dilute Championship Show
CHELLEASON CROWN DIOR
What a super month for Daitan! We can confirm now that our stunning mare Flowervale Capri has tested positive in foal to up and coming superstar purebred Arabian Trust MI. (see reference sires page). We are so excited about the resulting Arabian Warmblood foal as this will be Trust's first ever foal! Balwarra Kayla presented her Capone imp. foal whilst we were away at the SA Arabian Championships, an elegant chestnut colt, Daitan C'est La Vie. He was the last of our 2013 foals to arrive and we are pleased that all have arrived safely. He is super cute and friendly and is progressing well. He will be for sale on weaning only because he isn't the palomino filly that I ordered. Some lucky person will have a super competition horse and friend for life with this adorable individual. We thank our house sitter Amy Baggs and super midwives, Amy and Janita Edwards for taking great care with our precious mare and foal whilst we were away.
On the showing front, we attended the SA Arabian Championships at Mallala with 5 horses from our show team. We had a super weekend. Thank you to our loyal and beautiful friends who took the time out to help us all weekend, Tracey Nicol, Lainie Ray, Lyn Edmonds, Deirdre Parsons, Casey Gill. You are all worth your weight in gold. Big thanks to Dani Stefanutti who flew in from Victoria to take the reins of Falzon Four Claim for the weekend. She did an amazing job as usual and we are very lucky to have Dani ride for us.
We had the following results:
With foaling season in full swing it's all about babies at the moment! The three foals are growing nicely and all are showing to have delightful personalities. Our final foal is yet to make an appearance, and the impending birth looks to be only days away. We have one confirmed pregnancy for 2014 with White Skye Blue showing in foal to imported German Riding Pony, Golden Rock. He is a delightful palomino GRP stallion owned by Dynamik Stallions in WA and the foal will be palomino or cremello. Flowervale Capri has also been served to a purebred Arabian and this sire will be revealed on confirmation of positive pregnancy.
In show news, we have the following results where our saddle horses and continuing with their successful ways.
AUGUST / SEPTEMBER 2013
Wow what a busy couple of months we have had! Foaling season has kicked off with 3 of our 4 foals already on the ground as I write this. Visit our foal page to see our newest and cutest kids at Daitan. Khaleesi, our cremello filly from White Skye Blue by Roseglen Golden Legacy is just bursting with joyful people loving personality. Each time we see her we are greeted with an adorable little foal neigh and runs to us for pats and a play! Betty Boop is our highly anticipated Flowervale Boginov filly foal from Kirrong Tuppara. What a gorgeous little girl she is with a fabulous shoulder, dinky cute head and that trademark European pony dressage movement that Boginov passes onto his foals. Betty is for sale, check out the foal or sales page. Our third little arrival has left our jaws sitting on the spring grass! We never expected an arrival like this! Flowervale Capri presented a colt by Sadiks Psyche that dreams are made of. Tall, long legs, super conformation, uphill, in a lovely liver chestnut with bling galore! 4 stockings and a neat blaze, he is just devine! We are still waiting for Balwarra Kayla to present her second Capone imp foal for us which will be a full sibling to multi supreme champion winning, Daitan Cinta. She is due mid November.
We have also been busy with shows and our annual trip to Bali for our 2 weeks 'time out' for the year with family.
The end of September saw us taking the young kids out to the Dilutes SA Branch Classic Show where they exceeded all expectations to dominate in both rings that they were shown in. Here are their results:
CHELLEASON CROWN DIOR
Go Ritchie and Buttons!!!
Our Final news for September is the departure of Jaybee Amigo for 2 years to our super talented young rider, Dani Stefanutti in Victoria. Dani has ridden at State Level for us for 4 years and specialises in eventing in Victoria. She recently found herself without at suitable competition horse so we offered her Amigo on lease to compete on. We can't wait to see Amigo out in the Eventing Scene, we know he is going to love the change of scenery!
June saw the babies of Daitan head out to the Stars Of The Future Youngstock Show hosted by SAARABS INC. Both Daitan Cinta and Chelleason Crown Dior performed exceptionally well, impressing interstate judges Clint Bilson and Adam King to take out a clean sweep in the Arabian Derivative Classes for the following results:
Chelleason Crown Dior
Another busy month for us with Daitan Cinta going to his very first show. Cinta was exceptionally well behaved all day and blew us away with his calm and sensible attitude, a clear trait that he has inherited from his famous sire, Capone (imp.)
We have 2 new additions to the stud who will in time be vital assets to our breeding program. The first is the adorable Cremello mare, White Skye Blue. Skye is the dam of National and International Champions alike and will continue her champion producing ways at Daitan. She arrives in foal to the outstanding Palomino partbred Arabian stallion, Roseglen Golden Legacy (dec.) Legacy has limited foals on the ground and this will be one of his very last foals ever produced. Legacy is a multiple Royal and 'A' class Supreme Champion stallion. This foal is due in August and will be Palomino or Cremello. We are very excited!
Our second addition is White Skye Blue's weanling daughter - Chelleason Crown Dior. Crown Dior is the daughter of 2 time Australian National Champion Colt, Chelleason Crown Jewel. Crown Dior is the only dilute foal of Crown Jewel, being a stunning Buckskin filly. Dior is 50% Arabian and will be shown as a youngster. Dior is just exquisite with loads of Arabian type and beauty. She is the future of our breeding program.
For the first time ever we made the trek over to Sydney with a horse to compete at the Australian National Arabian Championships. Our new purebred gelding, Falzon Four Claim exceeded all our expectations for a new horse to us. We had an absolute ball and thank everyone that helped us behind the scenes to get in the ring. Biggest thanks to Lainie Ray, Casey Gill and my husband David for literally running their butts off after me all week and making sure we looked fabulous for every class. His results were:
In other news, we said goodbye to our sensational home bred Palomino Arabian Warmblood Colt, Daitan Aachen Gold. He set off to Victoria to his thrilled new owner, Carolyn Lofts, where he will embark on an eventing and dressage career in the future. We wish Carolyn all the best with this lovely boy, he sure will be missed.
Later in the month on return from the Aussies, we took APH Sunshine (Sunny) to her very first local show. She was an absolute doll and came home with the following awards:
The Main Event 'A' Class
Baileys On Ice
Falzon Four Claim
Over the past few months we have welcomed new horses, said goodbye to a special few and had some up's and down's inbetween!
We welcome an amazing new horse to our show team:
Falzon Four Claim - The stunning Magnum Forty Four purebred arabian gelding purchased from Darren and Melanie Welsh. He is already a superstar in his own right, taking out back to back Supreme Ridden Purebred at the SA Arabian Championships and most recently the winner of the Jean Luckock award at the 2013 Victorian Arabian Classic. Claim is everything we have been looking for in a purebred performance horse. We are very excited about his future and he will be competing at the 2013 Australian Arabian Championships in March.
We said farewell to the stunning Akam Regal Majic, who returned home to her owners after a year of saddle training and competing. She is a strong charcater who will be missed at Daitan.
It's been a while since our last update, and we certainly have been very busy! Over winter we were very fortunate to acquire the absolutely stunning purebred Arabian mare, Akam Regal Majic, on permanent lease from Roger Vuga and Judy Shannon. 'Princess' has had a fabulous halter career accumulating numerous Supreme's, State Championships and a Reserve National Championship. She has recently commenced a career under saddle here at Daitan and is proving to be a competitive saddle horse taking out her first Championship at the same show she was still graded a Novice horse! We are very excited to have this gorgeous girl with us.
Our broodmares have all gone back into foal with confirmed pregnancies from:
The Show Season has also kicked off for the following results:
SA Arabian Championships:
Akam Regal Majic
Festival All Breeds Show
Akam Regal Majic
SA ARABS INC. also held their HOTY presentation evening in July which saw Jaybee Amigo awarded the Ibn Ky Cup for SA Arabian Dressage Horse of the Year. It made for a great end to Amigo's first show season as a gelding.
The winter months are looming where everything will quiet down for a little while. The past two months have seen the departure of 3 wonderful horses from Daitan Equestrian.
Daitan Sasha Fierce has found a new home in SA with Show Jump rider Aimee Dent. Aimee plans to show Halo until she is ready to be broken in and hit the show jump arena's. Aimee is thrilled with her purchase and we can't wait to see them perform in the future.
Daitan Ooh La La has been sold to a super Arabian show in NSW with Rebecca Maher. La La will be professionally halter trained under Paul Hedges and shown along the East Coast. This is our first home bred baby to go over the East Coast! We wish Rebecca all the success in the world with this beautiful filly.
In other news, all three foals have been weaned and ready for halter training. The two golden colts are growing beautifully, exceeding all our breeding aspirations. Both are just stunning! Flowervale Capri will soon re commence her saddle career now that her colt has been weaned, we have been patiently waiting to get this girl back under saddle!
We have had a very busy couple of months fitting in a lot of shows along with having foals prepared for their ACE assessments. Jaybee Amigo has really settled into his new performance career as a gelding, taking out some big wins in the show ring. These include:
Murray Bridge All Breed Show:
The Main Event 'A' Class Arabian Show
March also saw two of our 2011 foals ACE assessed by German Assessor, Tonne Boeckmann. We were thrilled to see Daitan Aachen Gold -pic right (Jaybee Amigo x Flowervale Capri) awarded Premium Colt Foal on a total score of 79.25%. Daitan Cinta (Capone imp. x Balwarra Kayla) was awarded a score of 75.75%. Both colts really showed off for the occassion! Please visit our gallery to see photos from the ACE assessment morning at Daitan.
What a start to the New Year at Daitan - Flowervale Capri (Capone imp. x Inspiration imp. KWPN) delivered our highly anticipated Jaybee Amigo (Aachimedes x Skyhigh imp.) foal at 5.20am on New Years Day. A stunning huge Palomino Colt, he was just what we ordered with a neat star and two hind half cannon socks. He has legs that go on forever, and will follow in Amigo's footsteps to be our replacement stallion for Amigo who sadly had to be gelded earlier in 2011 due to medical issues. 'Daitan Aachen Gold' has his dad's colour and presence. We are sure he will become a very important sire of the furture for Daitan and the equestrian world! See foal page for more details. Photos to come!
Our second foal for the season has arrived! Daitan Dur'Vine presented herself at 8.30pm on Saturday 3rd December. A striking bright bay filly with a Star and 3 white socks, she has the most gorgeous personality! Sired by newly imported Grand Prix son - D'Dur and out of our Royal Show Supreme Champion producing mare, MEC Godiva, this sensational filly is the very first filly in Australia sired by D'Dur. This filly is offered for sale - please see the foal page or sale page for further details.
SA ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - NOVEMBER 2011
The Daitan Team had a wonderful show! Youth Rider, Dani Stefanutti, again flew over from Victoria to compete on Tathren Royal Pagasa for his first ridden show, and Tania competed on Amgio for the following results:
Tathren Royal Pagasa
Massive thank you to the whole Daitan Team for making the Champs so successful -
Our first foal for 2011 has arrived! Balwarra Kayla was very sneaky and decided to foal down 3 weeks early, whilst we were inflight on our way home from Bali. Thankfully she was in the capable hands of Janita Edwards who was there to make sure our newest arrival made a safe entry into the world. We are extremely thrilled to announce that Kayla has given us a stunning Palomino Colt! Sired by Imported WB Supersire - Capone (imp.) We are so excited that he is the very first Palomino in the world to be sired by Capone! He has been named 'Daitan Cinta', a Balinese word meaning 'Love' as he was conceived on our Wedding day and then born on our Bali Honeymoon! Known as 'Ritchie' at home, he is super friendly, totally gorgeous and will be retained as a future sire of Palomino Warmbloods and performance stallion for Daitan!
We have had another busy month settling into the show season and training horses. Revlis Damascus is coming along very nicely and finished off a month of showing with his first dressage weekend. He went on to win his first dressage test at the end of this weekend! His results for September are:
Galwer Ag Show -
Mt Crawford Dressage Club -
Dressage Club of SA -
September also saw the gelding of our lovely stallion - Jaybee Amigo - due to medical issues. Amigo had complicated surgery and eventually pulled though which was very stressful for not only us, but everyone that knows and loves Amigo. Amigo has made an amazing recovery and will re-commence his saddle work in early october. We are really looking forward to the versatility of showing and competing on a Amgio as gelding now. Amigo has been collected and we have limited amounts of Frozen Semen available to the public. Please feel free to contact us if you are intersted in a service to Amigo.
WOW What a month we have had!
7th August saw us take Revlis Damascus to his very first ridden show. After only 4 weeks under saddle all we were hoping for was a nice and quiet, positive outing for this lovely boy. 'Sheldon' blew us away with his sensible work ethic and attitude to not only work foot perfect on the day, but bring home the big prize:
SUPREME RIDDEN EXHIBIT OF SHOW! Wow! What a start to his ridden career! So proud of Sheldon and so excited for his future!
20th August saw our Daitan Babies make their showring debut at the 2011 Royal Adelaide Show Breeds Day. Both fillies were exceptionally well behaved, Daitan Sasha Fierce exceeded all our expectations for the following results:

Kisses is a multi SA State Supreme Champion and will be bred to Imported Dutch Riding Pony Sensation 'Flowervale Boginov' for a top shelf dressage pony! To see more of Kisses, visit our 'broodmare' page
Winter is normally fairly quiet for us here at Daitan, but not this year! We are super thrilled to announce the purchase of MEC Godiva, our stunning Belcam Gambler mare who is dam to the delightful Daitan Sasha Fierce. Huge thanks to owner Lyn Edmonds for making her part of the Daitan Team. 'Diva' is in foal to the newly imported Donnerhall son "D'Dur". We are very excited about the coming foaling season. With foals due to Capone (imp), D'Dur (imp) and our very own Jaybee Amigo, we are sure this will be our best season yet! Please enquire about foals for sale, we can't keep them all - if there is any horse that really takes your fancy on our website, please enquire!
July has also seen the arrival of Tania's new purebred arabian saddle horse and we have hopes of qualifying him for the 2012 Australian Champs. 'Revlis Damascus' (pic right) has been generously leased to Daitan Equestrain by Revlis Park Stud (Carolyn, Josie and Margaret Potts). He is an amazing quality gelding who has been succesfully shown in halter. A son of deceased 'Sarajevo KEI', with pure polish blood, we know this boy is destined for stardom! Watch this space!
The Main Event 'A' Class All Arabian Show
SA Dressage Assoc. - Official Competition
Jaybee Amigo had his first ever Official EA Dressage Competition in early Feb.
Later in the month we went to Dressage Club of SA with Amigo for the following results:
Amigo placed in both his tests in a large field of riders. He is progressing very nicely!
We have had a great start to 2011. Jaybee Amigo had his first dressage outing in SA with Tania, after only 8 rides at his new home to score 63% and 67% in his tests - he behaved beautifully and we are very excited about his future as a dressage competitor and sire!
We have been very lucky to have picked up generous sponsorship from Far Horizons Lodge - Emily Murray and Team Equissage! We are thrilled to have Equissage as a sponsor and are very thankful as the benefits to the horse are just outstanding.

What a busy month for Daitan Equestrian! David and I stunned our family and friends by having a surprise wedding at my 30th Birthday Celebrations on the 18th! A great night was had by all. But best of all, David surprised me with the purchase of the absolutely stunning Palomino Warmblood Stallion from Coldstream Park - Jaybee Amigo! Amigo arrived at Daitan Equestrian on 23rd December and will be standing at stud in SA. Go to the Stallion page for more information! Amigo will be campaigned in SA in the dressage and breed show arenas - we can't wait to get him out and about and to see his foals!
